your.daf started in Finland, aiming to highlight the uniqueness of handmade clothing. With a Greek heart and a mindful approach to sustainable sewing, it’s a space where curiosity, creativity and upcycled materials come together to tell your story one stitch at a time.
The studio:
The studio hosts workshops for creative people, sewing enthusiasts or just curious individuals. Most courses are designed for beginners but there are options for those who are more experienced.
For the little ones, courses include no pointy needles. Instead, they work alongside with a parent and create lovely decorative pieces.
It’s a space for people to practice new skills, explore different textures and create their own, unique pieces. Most of the fabrics and materials used in the courses are recycled or repurposed. All courses can be in Finnish, English and Greek.
The creator:
Sewing has always been a part of my life, so a few years back I made the decision to study it in the place that holds half of my roots. That’s when I left sunny, vibrant Greece and moved to bold, minimalist Finland.
I studied at Stadin ammattiopisto and then created my own designs. I opened my studio as I needed a space to express myself freely and let my creativity grow. Now it’s time to take the scariest, bigger step and share it with the world.
